Unitree R1 Basic Humanoid Robot (Non-Programmable)
The Unitree R1 Basic is an entry-level humanoid robot designed for safe, engaging demonstrations in classrooms, STEM events and maker environments. This version is non-programmable, making it ideal for schools and educators who want a reliable, human-like robot for showing motion, posture, gestures and human–robot interaction concepts without introducing complex coding or AI workflows.
What the R1 Basic is designed for
R1 Basic focuses on movement and interaction rather than programming. Educators can use it to introduce:
- Humanoid form and structure (head, torso, limbs)
- Balance, posture and simple motion demonstrations
- Basic human–robot interaction concepts
- STEM show-and-tell activities
- Early exposure to robotics for younger learners
Key Features
