The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) provides a considerable step-up in performance from its predecessor, featuring enhanced CPU cores, advanced multimedia, and a variety of RAM options. The CM4 harnesses the impressive computing power of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.
The CM4002016 has a brand new mechanical layout, with a reduced overall size and footprint on its carrier board. This smaller and more condensed form factor is ideal for integrating into existing products.
For storage, the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) has an optional 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB onboard eMMC, which is different from the Raspberry Pi 4's Micro SD card slot.
