Now, we are happy to announce you can step up your game even further, with the introduction of the Arduino GIGA Display Shield — an innovative touchscreen solution enabling all makers to effortlessly deploy fast and highly responsive graphic interfaces to their GIGA R1 WiFi projects. Featuring a 3.97” 480x800 RGB touchscreen, an MP34DT06JTR digital microphone, a Bosch BMI270 six-axis IMU, an Arducam® 20-pin camera connector, and an RGB LED, the GIGA Display Shield is perfect for easily creating handheld devices or dashboards you can control with a touch. Is this display multitouch-enabled?

Yes, the display supports up to 5 simultaneous touch points.

How do I connect the GIGA Display Shield to the GIGA R1 WiFi?

The GIGA Display Shield connects via the middle headers (J5 and J6) on the GIGA R1 WiFi. Attach the shield from the bottom, leaving the top side of the GIGA R1 WiFi available for additional shields.

Will I still have access to all pins when the display is attached?

Yes, you will retain access to all pins on the top side of the board (54 pins) even when the display is connected.

Does the shield require an external power supply?

No, the GIGA Display Shield does not require an external power supply. It is powered directly through the connection.

Which cameras are compatible with the shield?

The GIGA Display Shield is fully compatible with 20-pin DVP cameras from Arducam, such as the OV7675. For more information, visit the Arducam catalog of compatible cameras.

2. Express shipping: Goods will be shipped using Australia post EXPRESS shipping service.

3. Express split shipping: Local stock from Melbourne will be shipped ASAP (1 business day) using EXPRESS shipment while remaining items from overseas stock when arrived in Melbourne shipped using second EXPRESS shipment.

4. Pick up from Thomastown, Melbourne is available on appointment between 9 am to 3 pm during business days.

Receipt of deliveries

Deliveries to post office boxes are not permitted where delivery is by courier. If delivery is by courier and nobody is available at the delivery address to accept delivery when delivery is attempted then the courier may either:

re-attempt delivery at a later time or date, in which case we may charge you an additional re-delivery fee.
