An Educational DIY Mobile Phone
This neat little device is an open source mobile phone that you can build yourself.
Besides that, MAKERphone is also an educational device shaped like a mobile phone compatible with all mobile networks up to 4G.
Its purpose: to motivate people to explore, learn and create something new in a fun and interesting way.
Who is this kit for?
Based on our experience, an 11-year-old kid should be able to assemble a MAKERphone kit with a tiny bit of help from an adult.
Estimated build time: 5 hours.
Building the MAKERphone kit is just the beginning.
After that, you'll spend numerous hours creating your own games and apps and experimenting with hardware.

You'll need some basic tools and equipment for assembling your MAKERbuino:
- regular soldering iron (nothing super expensive is required) and some solder
- diagonal cutter pliers
- regular screwdriver
- some solder
- a piece of insulating tape or some super-glue

CircuitMess world is a place for MAKERphone users to share their creations, exchange knowledge, and download programs made by others as well as a collection of tutorials, guides and MAKERphone-related documentation.
Every game or app in CircuitMess world is open-source and available with a downloadable source code along with a compiled binary file that you can load directly on your device’s SD card.

Receipt of deliveries
Deliveries to post office boxes are not permitted where delivery is by courier. If delivery is by courier and nobody is available at the delivery address to accept delivery when delivery is attempted then the courier may either:
- leave the relevant parcel at the unattended address (the courier will do so if specified in your delivery requirements); or
- re-attempt delivery at a later time or date, in which case we may charge you an additional re-delivery fee.
Note that if a delivery is left unattended at the shipping address and is subsequently stolen then the theft is your responsibility, not ours.
