In addition to the obvious support for reading the temperature, the TMP119 can also monitor the temperature and alert you when corrective action needs to be taken.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe TMP119 has\u003cstrong\u003e 16-bit\u003c\/strong\u003e \/ \u003cstrong\u003e0.0078°C\u003c\/strong\u003e measurement resolution, wide operating range of -55 to 155°C, and up to \u003cstrong\u003e±0.03°C\u003c\/strong\u003e (typical) accuracy from 0°C to 45°C. The chip also has high and low \u003cstrong\u003etemperature alerts\u003c\/strong\u003e and interrupt support, and hardware support required for NIST traceability (\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.ti.com\/drr\/opn\/NIST-TEMPERATURE\"\u003econtact TI for the NIST documents\u003c\/a\u003e), this temperature sensor is perfect for applications where you need to keep a close eye on temperature.
